As adults, we know that writing by hand is a much slower process than typing on a keyboard. And we are all in a hurry to share our every thought with our social networking worlds. But, as an experiment, sit down and start writing down. See how different it feels to actually hold the pen and to have to plan out your thoughts. It’ll be good for your brain. Handwriting may be slower, and there is no spell check, but this is precisely why picking up a pen and writing your thoughts down on paper may actually help you exercise your brain.
A new investigation proved that people who use a pen and paper to write down information tend to remember it a lot easier than if they type it on a computer keyboard or a touchscreen.
When we write something down on the Planner, we store it, in a sense, in two ways — visually and kinaesthetically, by using the muscles in our arm, hand, and fingers to write. If we read the list of priorities out loud, we have now stored it in two more ways, by speaking and listening. We are now far less likely to forget the items on our priority list. If we store the list in computer, even if we then migrate it to smartphone, we are still storing it in just one way, as letters on a screen — eminently forgettable.
Our Management Desk Planner serves you as a dynamic tool to think, write down your To-Dos and prioritize and in turn help you to exercise your brain & remember better. It complements and even gives you an edge over organizing softwares available in your PCs and Smartphones.
